Mark Delaney has served in the 82nd Airborne Division and 96th Civil Affairs Battalion with trips overseas to Iraq, Syria, and Saudi Arabia.
On making his own transition from military life back to civilian life, he personally discovered the obstacles and how difficult the whole process was for Veterans. “It was deeply frustrating”, Mark shares.
He wanted to create change. He wanted to make this transition more productive, easier to navigate, and ultimately be successful for the veteran and their families.
In this episode you will learn about:
- The frustrations and struggles our Veterans encounter in transition back to civilian life
- Finding their new identity beyond the uniform they used to wear
- Learning how to transition their skillsets learned in the military back into civilian careers.
- How The Veteran Professional provides resources and information for Veterans who are interested in higher education, entrepreneurship and professional careers.
Our Veterans are amazing! They have served us sacrificially and have protected our freedoms while being away from their own families and loved ones. Thank you for your service! We are so grateful!
