Paula Herman Smith is a home-based cook and cookbook author of two cookbooks. Her first cookbook, Cooking & Dining with Heart and Soul, was published in August 2020. It sold out within a month and was reprinted and sold out again.

Paula retired from catering after 16 years in the Houston area to begin writing her second cookbook, Cooking & Dining with Ease. It was published in March 2023.
